Reaction: I agree with the author on this, especially on the first sentencs. Digital and media projects can be a wonderful tool to use in the classroom. But there is always that risk of a student being more concerned about the technology aspect than what the assignment is. We don't want this is be mistreated and the learning that's supposed to be taken place get overtaken by the excitement of the technology.

I agree Michelle, there is a risk of the students paying more attention to the technology than the assignment. Could too much technology be a bad thing? Great Job!
ReplyDeleteGood point!!! Misusing or overusing anything will lead to serious of stubborn issues, which will definitely ruin our students' future. Finding a solution to this problem is so critical that we have the responsibility to start focusing on it from now on and try our best to guide innocent pupils to a beneficial pathway.
ReplyDeleteYou made good points. I have some experience with Web design, and often the sites with lots of bells and whistles where singled out as bad examples because they were content poor. Storyboards are a good tool for analyzing a story with objectivity before putting it in digital motion.
